Sleep Study Cost and Insurance
The cost of sleep evaluation and testing depends on the office, test type, insurance network, deductible, copayment, authorization rules and whether additional interpretation or follow-up is billed.

Questions to ask before testing
- Is the clinician and testing provider in network?
- Is a referral or prior authorization required?
- What deductible, copayment or coinsurance applies?
- Are device setup, interpretation and follow-up included?
- What is the self-pay price if benefits do not apply?
Insurance verification is not a guarantee of payment. A claim may be processed differently after the insurer reviews diagnosis, medical necessity, network and plan rules.
