What RF microneedling is
Microneedles enter the skin and deliver radiofrequency energy at controlled settings and depths. Depending on the legally marketed device and its labeled use, treatment may be considered for selected facial wrinkle, texture or rejuvenation concerns.
Important FDA safety update: The FDA has reported serious complications with certain uses of RF microneedling, including burns, scarring, fat loss, disfigurement and nerve damage. Assessment
Skin type, treatment area, healing history, medications, active infection, prior procedures and tendency toward abnormal scarring matter.
Risks
Pain, redness, swelling, pinpoint bleeding, pigment changes, infection, burns, scarring, fat loss, nerve injury and unsatisfactory results are possible.
